Japanese artist Hakuro will open her Mechquarium exhibition at VOID in Asagaya (Tokyo), Japan on Saturday, February 8th, 2020. Through a mix of her own work and collaborative pieces with fellow artists, the show will focus on a blend of ocean and mecha themes.
In addition to original pieces, Haukro will release the new Umi Firefly edition of her signature Densi Octopus sofubi art toy. With a light translucent blue + glitter base vinyl and an inner pour of darker blue paint, the new edition lives up to the the concept of an Umi (‘Ocean’) Firefly.
