To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of UK singer Peter Murphy’s seminal Deep album (1989), Plasticgod has created a new vinyl art toy of Murphy, known as both a soloist and as the vocalist of the influential Bauhaus band. Inspired by the singer’s appearance in the video for the album’s Cuts You Up track, the 6″ figure features pearlescent hair, a nod to Murphy’s platinum blond locks and the traditional 30th Anniversary stone, and a solid black outfit. The new figure is the latest musician-inspired figure from Plasticgod and follows the Nick Cave vinyl (3DRetro) from 2015.
Limited to 2000 pieces, the Peter Murphy vinyl art toy with plexiglass packaging will be available for $100 in early 2020.
