As you might recall, Lunartik is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of his signature Lunartik in a Cup of Tea with his 10th Anniversary Year of Tea series – one mini-tea per month for the entire year. Subscribers have already received January and February’s teas, with March on it’s way.
For those that haven’t subscribed yet, Lunartik is offering up the January edition, Q-Tea II, for individual purchase £25 (~$32) plus shipping and handling from his online shop. Oh, if you’d like to buy this first figure and subscribe to the other teas, there’s an option to do that as well.
The design pays homage to the artist’s QT Qee—a blue Qee with a brown squirrel on his head—which inspired the original Lunartik in a Cup of Tea resin. So, the lil ‘guy in the saucer has some Squirrel DNA. Squirel-lien?
Thanks to Jaykblu’s unboxing video, we know that the February Tea, Raw Tea, also pays homage to the origins of the toy, in this case, the unpainted resin edition.
