Launching just days before World Aids Day (12.1), Kidrobot has partnered with the Keith Haring Studio on a special (Red) collection which benefits (Red)’s mission of stemming the scourge of AIDS in Africa through the distribution of Anti-Retroviral drugs. The collection features three special Kidrobot mascot figures in 7” ($39.99), 3” ($8.99), and 1” editions ($3.99), as well as a Beanie ($25) and a Snapback cap ($25).
The Kidrobot x Keith Haring (RED) collection will be released on Saturday November 30th from KR locations and select retailers. To celebrate the launch, KRNY will be hosting an official product launch party on the 30th (7-9 PM, RSVP: emartinez@kidrobot.com) and the SF, LA, and Boulder KR locations will be hosting launch parties as well (6-8 PM).
Beyond looking sharp with an infinite, iconic Keith Haring pattern, the collection will make a real difference in the world as KR will donate 5% of sales to (RED) to continue the work of fighting AIDS. Kudos to Kidrobot for releasing cool products that will benefit a worthy cause.
