The big news of the fall is the coming of the new Chaos Minis from Joe Ledbetter and The Loyal Subjects. The new 4” minis offer the appeal of the popular Chaos Bunny series in a smaller, cubicle or desk friendly blind-boxed format. After a week or so of fun tease->reveal posts from Joe, here’s a look at the full series which will be available for pre-order on Thursday.
As you might expect, the Chaos Minis will feature several different sculpts beyond the standard Chaos Bunny. The Fire-Cat and Ice-Cat Bunnys offer a fun mash-up of Joe’s two most popular characters, while Fairy Bunny, Cactus Bunny, Hula Bunny, Snail Bunny, Monster Bunny and Jackalope Bunny add whimsy and variety for collectors. If you’re a JLed fan, there’s plenty to hunt here including the chase figure… Lava Bunny in the classic Black + Yellow color combo. In all there are 12 different Chaos Mini figures complete with articulation and extensive deco – with some figures featuring over 100 deco operations/hits.
The short-run Chaos Minis will be available for pre-order on Thursday (10.17) from theloyalsubjects.com in individual blindboxes ($14.50), 8 figure bundles and display cases of 16 figures. Every order from the webstore will include an exclusive three-pack of vinyl diecut stickers (5”). Plus, collectors who purchase a display case will receive a free exclusive Cactus Bunny Tee – be sure to specify shirt size and gender in comments at checkout. The Chaos Minis are expected to ship in December and will then be available from select retailers.
