During the opening of their 4th Anniversary show this past Saturday, Toy Art Gallery gave collectors an early opportunity to purchase both the Anniversary Ed. Luftkaiser vinyl and the brand-new Metal Mockbats. If you missed the show, TAG will officially launch both figures this Friday (9.20).
Echoing the magic of Paul Kaiju’s Mockbat sofubi, the new metal editions feature clever magnetic articulation and yes, a stomach that opens to reveal his inner guts. The 4” metal editions will be available in Gold, Silver, and Black Nickel editions at a special anniversary price of $135 each. An additional copper edition is not yet available. The Anniversary Luftkaiser (4”) features gold, silver, teal and red spray over a black base vinyl and will be available for at the special anniversary price of $45. Both the Metal Mockbats and the Anniversary Luftkaiser will drop on Friday (9.20) @ Noon PDT from shop.toyartgallery.com.
