As part of its Anniversary Exhibition in September (9.14), Toy Art Gallery will celebrate their Pollen Kaiser figure from Paul Kaiju with a selection of customs from noted artists. For his turn, Carson Catlin has taken his reticulated aesthetic to new heights. His METWIN custom features intricate cuts which draw attention to the figure’s original form while also offering a mostly new textural design that respects key elements of the OG design. The remaining exterior is dry brushed in grey while the interior is treated with super bright pink for a striking result. All in all, this is one of our favorite Carson Catlin customs – nicely done. The piece will be available at the exhibition for $500.
