Urban vinyl pioneer Eric So created several standout pieces early in the HK vinyl scene including his memorable take on Hellboy and his Sprite Soul series. An accomplished designer, he has lately focused his efforts on apparel and lifestyle products as well as his own gallery art, with sporadic toy releases here and there. So it’s exciting news that he is about to release a new vinyl figure – White Knight (~ 4.7”) with Unbox Industries.
Set to debut at TTF, White Knight has a stylized sculpt which true to So’s style plays with body proportions — a wide, long torso, flowing helmet ornamentation and short legs. The new toy will be available in both a standard white edition ($38) and special ‘one day’ color variants throughout. From the promo shots, it looks like crystal clear might be offered as well. If you’re not going to be attending Taipei Toy, you’ll be happy to know that Unbox will be reserving some stock for online sales.
