Jermaine Rogers opened his ‘Comfort for the Desperate Children’ at Scion AV Installation on Melrose this past Saturday evening.  In the venue’s tradition, the show featured a new collection of product created for the exhibition including a new book, apparel including a sweet Dero 72 biker style jacket, small format prints, mugs, candle holders,  and more as well as large number of framed prints.

The show also served as the first release of his new limited-edition ‘Creeping’ resin, sculpted by J*Ryu.  At 10” x 5”, the sight of the larger-than-expected Dero crawling is unsettling and moving.    All three ‘Creeping’ editions were on display including the OG in Orange (100 pcs), Phantom in Clear (30 pcs), and SDCC Exclusive in Jet black (50 pcs).  Both the OG and Phantom were available at the event.  Each looks great and serious collectors will need to have all three, without question.  J*Ryu’s sculpt brings Dero to life in part by offering us the Dero we know and in part by offering a more animalistic perspective/pose.
