For the upcoming Deadbeet custom show @ Toy Art Gallery (6.29), Carson Catlin broke out his saws and brushes to create his Julienned verion of Scott Tollen’s popular sofubi figure. Carson’s use of multiple paint colors against his signature reticulated technique helps to give the character additional personality and form than it would have with a uniform color scheme, as does his decision to leave the tongue and bandage intact. Julienned will be available through TAG for $400.
