Mark Landwehr and the crew at Coarse is about to launch their newest vinyl creations, Oop Prey. The 2-pack features new editions of the nascent Oop and Aw! as viewed by predators waiting for the hapless two to emerge from their protective surroundings. Whether intentional or merely coincidence, the 2-pack’s theme of hunted prey visualized through skeletal designs meshes nicely with the coming of All Hallow’s Eve. The boldly stylish red, white, and black character designs compliment and transform the minimalist sculpts. While the mirror-tastic oopCr was impressive, Prey is our favorite oop edition so far with the strong character designs and super-tight deco.
Oop Prey delivers the two 7” matte finish vinyl figures nestled in black sponge within a hand-crafted, silk-screen printed paper closure sealed with a photo-printed sleeve. Limited to 300 sets, Oop Prey drops on Wednesday October 24th for HK$ 1560 (~ $201) @ 8:59 AM PDT from coarsehkg.
