Seen: Shane Jessup’s Live Mega Munny Painting @ KRLA

On Saturday, Kidrobot LA hosted Shane Jessup for his ‘Bless This Mess‘ live Mega Munny painting session as part of the Munny World month events. Dogs were the word of the day. After prepping the Mega Pup with a base brown and tan fur coat before hand, Shane continued the work during the event by painting in facial details including the ears and the nose. Shane also offered a sneak peek at his upcoming Hachi Supply line of artful dog products including an uncut test strip of the upcoming dye-sublimated leashes with designs from Tristan Eaton, Dalek, Tado, and UPSO. In addition to leashes, Hachi will also offer dog beds/cushions, the first samples of which were also on hand.

Several fellow artists dropped by to check out Shane’s custom skills including Sket, graffiti legend SEEN, Angry Woebots, Ritzy Periwinkle, and Luke Chueh. To round out the day, a collector took the opportunity to add to his collection of artist customized GID mini-munnys including an all-out effort from the godfather of graffiti.
