Do you want to see the most blingingist toy ever? Well here you go! You are looking at a 6” tall sculpture that weighs roughly 2 pounds by Robinson Design Goldsmith in New Zealand. This original one of a kind design is based on the New Zealand Tiki and is made of 24 Karat Gold Bullion. What impresses me most is that this sculpture features articulation in both the arms and the tongue. To create such a masterpiece, they would hand hammer sheets of pure gold into different shapes, while the details were hand-cast from hand carved patterns. To do this, they had to learn and practice new techniques to create what they had envisioned. Wow… just… wow…
