The Little Lotus Project is an organization that started in 2010, where four New Zealand artists (Tanja Jade (aka Misery), Peap Tarr, Alex Chalmers, and Pat Shepherd) traveled all the way to the Thai/Burma border to help educate and expose the refugee and migrant children in music and art, with hopes to enrich and make a better life for youth.
For December 2011, SpinningTop will be launching this project once again. This time they will be sending out 12 very talented artists to the Thai/Burma border, most of which are members of the familiar Army of Snipers crew. Those participating artists include: Peap Tarr, DRYPNZ, Ritzy Periwinkle, Angry Woebots, Meghan Geliza, Sheryo, J*Ryu, Cleo Barnett, Leon Dalton, Pat Sheperd, Gareth Moon, and Daniel Zana.
The AOS x Little Lotus Kickstarter page was created to help fund the trip and associated expenses for US artists, Ritzy Periwinkle, Angry Woebots, J*Ryu, and Daniel Zana (Vinyl Frontier). They are in need of your help to be able to help others. Each artist has created some amazing incentives for your donations, such as prints, hand sculpts, Vinyl Frontier DVDs, toys, customs, and paintings.
