Cometdebris – Sametan

We all know Koji Harmon aka Cometdebris as an avid Animal Rights enthusiast, especially when it comes to sharks and other oceanic creatures. That’s where his new Sametan  (saw-meh-tanh) figure draws inspiration from, who was also sculpted by Kiyoka Ikeda of Gargamel. Every release of Sametan will help benefit Pangea Seed in their mission to help spread awareness of the decline of sharks and their habitats. Sametan will be making his first debut at the Sink or Swim show in San Francisco and we are hoping to hear some release details very soon!

  1. I’m not so keen on having a figure of a mutilated shark on my bookcase but it’s a very worthwhile cause so I may pick some of these up for customs 🙂

  2. well knowing that Sharks are usually sought after for their fins.. to see them being stitched back onto the shark is a statement Koji is trying to portray

  3. Cometdebris is a very well known cartoon character by all kids. There are collectibles of Cometdebris figures. It is an animal that lives in ocean or sea together with sharks and other sea animal.
