We’re big fans of the Ferg’s Squadt figures which combine designer vinyl aesthetics with the accessory-centric focus of 1:6 designs. So while we hadn’t thought of what it would take to improve upon the Squadt Design, it’s cool to see that Ferg is working on doing just that. The Arms 2.0 tech will feature a much wider range of articulation with a new elbow hinge and rotation both above the elbow and at the wrist as well. The new arms seem to give the Squadt a more mechanical appearance – in large part due to the hinge. No word on when this tech will leave the ‘Playge Labs’ and see mainline deployment.
