There’s no better way to start out the new year, by taking a stroll over to Rivet Gallery for the opening of The Art Of Bukubuku. This solo exhibit features the artwork of Silvia Portella Torres and it takes place on Saturday, January 1st from 6-8PM. There will you find mixed media pieces, as well as original framed art prints. A little about the artist:
An illustrator born in 1978 in Barcelona, Spain nowadays based in Berlin, Germany. Graduating in 2001 from the art and design school BAU in Barcelona and working in graphic design until giving her true passion, illustration a try. Silvia has done character design and illustration for companies such as Enser magazine, Poketo, and Pictoplasma just to name a few.
