In the afterglow of Coarse Toys’ ‘Glimpse of Truth’ solo @ Rotofugi, the dynamic brand is about to release False Friends in Pain Chicago Exclusive Ed., a special hand-painted resin set (ed. of 88) which reveals the elusive truth about Noop and and Paw’s ‘friendship’. The pair of injured 13-inch figures come in two wood screen-printed boxes. In keeping with their tradiiton of next-level packaging, the set includes autumn alphabet leaves (C-O-A-R-S-E) and a pool of blood. Achieving synergy between the characters and the packaging, Noop’s box design is horizontal, while Paw’s is vertical.
The Chicago Exclusive False Friends in Pain will be released by Rotofugi on Monday, July 19th @ 6 PM CDT for $660 (includes domestic shipping). Coarsehkg will release it for HK$ 5380 (includes global shipping) on Wednesday, July 21st @ 10 AM Hong Kong time.
