MINDstyle x Kenny Scharf – Jetsons x Flinstones Concept Art

2-500x353

MINDstyle has unveiled concept art for two upcoming projects with NYC artist Kenny Scharf.  Drawn from Scharf’s recent LA show at Honor Fraser, both projects are translations of original paintings mixing the worlds of the Jetsons and Flinstones.  In Scharf’s vision Fred and George have switched domestic situations and eras.

Based on the concept art, both art toy projects will mirror the paintings right down to the flying saucer and prehistoric pedi-car.  We’re assuming the characters will be fixed in the vehicles, but we’ll check on that point [via the  MINDstyle blog]

  1. I loved bot the Jetsons and the Flinstones. However mixing the two doesn’t work for me. Make sets based on the cartoons as they were and you can have my cash. This way…I pass.

  2. Not cool.
I love disney and Hanna Barbera, but mindstyle is playing everything out! I no longer like mindstyle.

  3. dude, quit f_cking covering mindstyle; none of this stuff is ever going to be released.
instead, why don’t you have our backs, as collectors, and shame mindstyle for treating their customers like sh_t and making us wait endlessly— without explaination— for products we’ve purchased.
