Play Imaginative dropped quite a salvo of new toys at the recent STGCC show in Singapore, including two 5″ Mao Cats from Touma. There’s the black flocked Cheeky edition as well as the Smiley edition which has Lucky Cat inspired design. Limited to 1000 pieces each, both versions retail for SGD$25 (~ $18). Beyond the good news that Mao Cat will be readily available to collectors (compared to the Japanese editions), we’re pretty impressed with the rather reasonable price point. We should note that the packaging is a clear polybag + blister rather than a designed box. One final random note, is the Lucky Cat the new Bunny ?
