Mark Landwehr continues to turn heads with each Coarsetoys release and exhibition. Following up on the 1st Noop show in Chicago @ Rotofugi, Mark added several resin sculptures into the mix for the Noop Berlin show which opened at the 4010 Gallery on December 10th. The new resin pieces include the False Friends pair – Hong Kong (Dragon), Berlin (Bear) and the Clouds over Noop duo (storm and rainbow). In addition, the show marks the public reveal of the new Pain Ed. Paw (grey with red blood on the paw). While many people gripe about the stagnation of designer toys (perhaps rightfully so), it”s awesome to see that inspired creativity is alive and well in Coarsetoys and other innovative brands.
