In consideration of the current Category 8 storm watch for Tropical Storm Nuri, The ‘This One’s for the Children of Sichuan’ charity auction and live preview have been rescheduled out of concern for everyone’s safety and the closure of many shops and offices. The preview will take place on Monday August 25th (7 PM) at MINDstyle’s LIFEstyle creative space within the Delay No Mall (DNM) in Hong Kong. The online auction will begin at 7 AM EDT on Sunday, August 24th through Live Auctioneers.
Organized by MINDstyle, this charity auction brings together the best and brightest artists and companies for a common goal – to assist the children of Sichuan Province in China victimized by the earthquake that killed more than 70,000 and left upwards of 10 million homeless. Proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to Care For Children’s efforts to assist in the new reconstruction master plan calling for the rebuilding of 3500 primary schools and 1200 middle schools in Sichuan Province.
