On Saturday, May 19th Derek Welch and Jason Bacon of UNKL let loose with their latest custom toys, mixed media on wood art, prints and more for their Amerkin Wasteland show at Hecklewood lifestyle store / gallery in Portland. UNKL rocked both custom SUGs and JUNPOs (as well as a plastic oil quart) but our hands-down-favorite is the Oily Bohunk SUG. Sweet. While UNKL is best known for their toys, the duo’s strong design background really comes to the forefront with their mixed media artwork — cool for sure.
