How exactly is this a significant exposure for the “art toy” scene? Being such an iconic character it is far from an original design. How does it expose anything in the “art toy” scene. Just another Japanese refference in a film clip.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love one of these and they look beautifully made (famous last words in this hobby). It’s just a replica. A tribute.
For exposure to be meaningful, it needs to come from a fresh piece front and centre.

You know I tried so hard to buy one last year but I couldn’t get a hold of one. I heard Medicom has a large version coming this year. I don’t know the size but fuck it it’s better than buying shit from 1045. Their customer service sucks.
