Angels Die Hard: An Art Show of Imaginary Biker Gangs

With Angels Die Hard, curator Abe Lincoln Jr.  challenged artists with a unique theme – design a vest or jacket for an imaginary biker gang.  Several artists have picked up the gauntlet and run with it creating their own fictious rebels including:  Cupco! (AUS), The Little Friends of Printmaking (U.S.), UPSO (U.S.), Steve ‘Ribs’ Weissmann (U.S.), Huck Gee (U.S.),  Pure Evil (U.K.), S. Faustina (U.S.),  MCA of Evil Design (U.S), Mr. Pinks (U.K.), What What (U.K.), The Hiberts (U.S.)   and Abe Lincoln Jr. (U.S.).  The vests pictured above were designed by the Hiberts.

Angels Die Hard runs from November 27th to December 14th at the University Union Gallery at Sacramento State with an opening on Thursday November 30th from 6 to 10 PM. The opening will feature live painting Pure Evil, Mr Pinks, Mats!?! and Abe Lincoln Jr. from 6 pm to 9 pm.  For a night of creative art, check out the opening of Angels Die Hard.
