Undoboy is set to debut his spin on minifigs with the Super-Bastard Box Art Character toys. Each 4" figure has 4 different contemporary and quirky characters printed on the four sides and is made of laminated card stock. The characters range from contemporary newsmakers such as Osama Bin Laden, Queen Elizabeth and George Bush to classic archetypes including a cave man, police officer and more. Beyond the character designs, the fun really starts when the head and pants are removed to reveal skulls and various unmentionables. The head and pants can be mixed and matched across figures and just rotated to form new mash-up characters.
It looks like these will provide alot of casual afforadble fun — almost like a blind-box build-your-own character set. The series consists of 16 different figures (64 characters in all) limited to 1000 pieces each and retails for $5.95 per figure. Thanks for spotting that!
this is vinyl or paper? if paper seems quite expensive for one. =_+
Interesting concept! Haven’t decided if I like it yet, but I do love it when people innovate like this!
These look awesome, can’t wait for them to be released!
