Bad Design
Amanda Visell has long
been one of my favorite artists. Her cute illustrations carry a sense
of controlled chaos and they never fail to bring a smile to my face. At
the upcoming group show, Blast From the Future, she will feature a series of robot themed pieces. Robot Babysitter stars the ever frightening closet "boogie robot" and in Bad Design, a beautiful captive blond is eager to eject the evil "king kong" or is she? Ever wished you had a Robot Breakfast? Sure beats dry cereal!! And you better hide your toys,they might just end up with the same fate as Lost Bear. Besides Amanda’s work, you will see works by Eric Joyner, Joshua Ellingson,

Compound Gallery in Portland OR and it ends on January 31, 2006.
