Kazuhiko Ito (Itokin Park) will be making the trip to LA in October for several events including a new workshop with  the girls from Switcheroo on Sunday October 6th (3-6 PM).   This time around, Kazuhiko is working with Amanda Visell and Michelle Valigura  on his second workshop of the ‘handmade oven clay’, a followup to the first one from a few years back.

This three-hour ticketed event ($150) at Thank You Comics in Highland Park. will teach students how to make oven baked clay character, in particular versions of three new sofubi figures from Itokin, Amanda and Michelle which will also be released at the pop up art event following the workshop (7-9). As seen previously, the three figures include Itokin’s psychedelic astronaut, Amanda’s Beaver in Tree Mobile and Michelle’s Robot Girl – each made in Japanese sofubi by Itokin himself! In addition to the sofubi, the pop up will feature original art and new ceramic collab pieces from Michelle and her co-conspirators.

In other Switcheroo news, Amanda has put up a pre-order for her Pandalope limited-edition customs with just a few left (25 pieces, $500).
