Mini-Mayhem: Blind-boxed Bad Taste Bears

Peter Underhill’s Bad Taste Bears are getting the blind-boxed mini treatment.  The upcoming Mini Mayhem series (Spring ‘11) from OddCo   features 8 ‘chibi’ style BTB 4” flexible polystone bears, each up to their own brand of ‘no good’.   While bears are probably the most played out designer toy animal, the series features quite a bit of variety with eight distinct sculpts.  On the more critical angle the designs follow tried and true (and hence potentially boring) archetypes – clown, devil, masked assailant and more. Definitely livin’ on the kitschy side. As well, the figures are not articulated and have one of our pet peeves (‘frozen’ feet).  What do you think of this new line ?
