After the MINDstyle party, people made their way over to the nearby Bar Basic for Munky King’s annual SDCC bash. This year’s ‘Omi Unmasked’ edition celebrated the release of MK’s brand new Omi project unveiling and release. Collectors got a chance to experience Omi first-hand with DIY Omi figures included in the complimentary goodie bags. Four Omi artists Dave Flores, Yoskay Yamamoto, Joe Ledbetter and Angry Woebots (S2) showcased their skills with a group live-painting session featuring Omi-shaped canvases. As in previous years, Bar Basic was packed with artists, industry types and collectors.
