With the Exquisite Corpse Dunny series<\/strong> less than a week away, Kidrobot<\/a> continues its preview of\u00a0 the deadly series’ designs from the artists of Red Mutuca Studios<\/strong>. The latest reveal (#5) is The Gamer <\/strong>from Igor Ventura<\/strong><\/a>. With an electric purple and yellow combo, Ventura’s design celebrates the endless ‘Game Over’ screens survived by die hard gamers. The ‘RM’ on the letterman-style jacket is a nod to Red Mutuca studios which Venutra oversees, along with Sergio Mancini<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Curated by\u00a0Red Mutucua Studios\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0CoART Magazine<\/a>, the upcoming Dunny series is the first to utilize the new modular Dunny which allows parts to be easily swapped in and out thanks to a magnetic head, torso and legs along with plug-style arms. The series is named after the creative challenge Frida Kahlo and other Surrealist painters enjoyed, which involves creating a portrait on a folded sheet of paper with each artist creating a section (head, torso, etc) without seeing the others\u2019 work.<\/p>\n
