{"id":75972,"date":"2005-10-31T05:30:00","date_gmt":"2005-10-31T05:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-305716-980974.cloudwaysapps.com\/2005\/10\/podling_show_pi.html"},"modified":"2005-10-31T05:30:00","modified_gmt":"2005-10-31T05:30:00","slug":"podling_show_pi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vinylpulse.com\/2005\/10\/podling_show_pi.html","title":{"rendered":"Podling Show Pics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Doktor A&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spookypop.com\/podule\/\">Podling<\/a><\/strong> took its first huge step as the <strong>Podling Show<\/strong> opened on Thursday, October 27th at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.playlounge.co.uk\/\">Playlounge<\/a> in London.&nbsp; The show featured 20+ custom Podlings done by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spookypop.com\/\"><strong>Doktor A<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Campbell McAlister<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cluttermagazine.com\/\"><strong>Clutter<\/strong><\/a>,<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elizabethberdann.com\/\">Elizabeth &quot;Blu&quot; Berdann<\/a> <\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimkoch.com\/\"><strong>Jim Koch<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baroquedesigns.net\/\"><strong>Julien Hatswell<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lunartik.com\/\"><strong>Lunartik<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madtoydesign.com\/\"><strong>MAD<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mimicdesign.com\/\"><strong>Mimic<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>miQ willmOtt<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mrclement.com\/\"><strong>Mr. Clement<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp; <strong>Nakanari,<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peskimo.com\/\"><strong>Peskimo<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sket-one.com\/\">Sket One<\/a><\/strong>,&nbsp; &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tado.co.uk\/\"><strong>TADO<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/triclops.co.uk\/\"><strong>Triclops<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>WRD-ONE.<\/strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; The inventive shape lends itself to switching up the front and back for two distinct looks.&nbsp; &nbsp; The Podling customs done by this talented lineup are very nice indeed.&nbsp; WRD ONE&#8217;s <strong>Dutty the Reselle<\/strong>r is amusing and takes &quot;flipping&quot; head on.&nbsp; Ebay and designer toys are linked together for better and worse; it&#8217;s nice to see artists engaging the dreaded topic.&nbsp; Is it Ebay or Flipper \ud83d\ude42&nbsp; &nbsp;By the looks of the pics and based on Dok A&#8217;s report, the show was a rousing success! We already love the Podlings and after having seen these customs, we want more <strong><em>now<\/em><\/strong>! Props to all the artists and Doktor A for creating the Podling and for sending us this&nbsp; glowing batch of pics.&nbsp; &nbsp;So&#8230; which is your favorite?&nbsp; I&#8217;ll go with <strong>Rat Rider<\/strong> by Doktor A.<\/p>\n<p>\n<span style=\"margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px;
