Medicom Toy<\/a> celebrated PicoPico\u2019s<\/a> 20th Anniversary<\/strong> of making sofubi with the PicoPico Grand Exposition<\/a><\/strong> held in early May at the Medicom Toy Plus store in Ometosando Hills.\u00a0 The show featured 45 custom Gacky-Kun\u2019s from various artists as well as special editions of toys Picopico designed and\/or sculpted.\u00a0 For those that couldn\u2019t make it to the physical show, Medicom<\/a> is offering an online version of the show<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 For overseas customers (outside of Japan), the online exposition\/release goes live at 8 PM PDT<\/a> on Friday (5.18) via Medicom\u2019s CJ MART<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The exposition page has quite a few sofubi releases from several companies including One Up<\/a>, Max Toy<\/a>, Lulubell<\/a> and of course Picopico. A few of these stand out to us. First there\u2019s Escagot no shounen<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>a doll figure created by the artist before we was known as Picopico<\/a>.\u00a0 Medicom is offering new sofubi versions to celebrate the previous doll releases. Another standout is the Gandy-Kun Touya Sato Exclusive<\/a> <\/strong>with colors chosen by Touya Sato, the father of Gandy-Kun. Finally, the Blobpus painted Shishigashira<\/a> is aces in our book.
