{"id":3550,"date":"2018-05-18T15:26:46","date_gmt":"2018-05-18T15:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/actionacademy.co\/vinyl-pulse\/picopico-x-medicom-toy-grand-exposition-web-518\/"},"modified":"2018-05-18T15:26:46","modified_gmt":"2018-05-18T15:26:46","slug":"picopico-x-medicom-toy-grand-exposition-web-518","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vinylpulse.com\/2018\/05\/picopico-x-medicom-toy-grand-exposition-web-518.html","title":{"rendered":"PicoPico x Medicom Toy &#8211; Grand Exposition Web (5.18)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.medicomtoy.co.jp\/\">Medicom Toy<\/a> celebrated <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/picopicoshimbun\">PicoPico\u2019s<\/a> <strong>20th Anniversary<\/strong> of making sofubi with the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cjmart.jp\/en\/products\/list.php?category_id=65\">PicoPico Grand Exposition<\/a><\/strong> held in early May at the Medicom Toy Plus store in Ometosando Hills.\u00a0 The show featured 45 custom Gacky-Kun\u2019s from various artists as well as special editions of toys Picopico designed and\/or sculpted.\u00a0 For those that couldn\u2019t make it to the physical show, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medicomtoy.co.jp\">Medicom<\/a> is offering an <a href=\"http:\/\/cjmart.jp\/en\/products\/list.php?category_id=65\">online version of the show<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 For overseas customers (outside of Japan), the online exposition\/release goes live at 8 PM <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timeanddate.com\/library\/abbreviations\/timezones\/na\/pdt.html\">PDT<\/a> on Friday (5.18) via <a href=\"http:\/\/cjmart.jp\/en\/products\/list.php?category_id=65\">Medicom\u2019s CJ MART<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The exposition page has quite a few sofubi releases from several companies including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.one-up.org\/\">One Up<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maxtoyco.com\/\">Max Toy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lulubelltoys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lulubell<\/a> and of course Picopico. A few of these stand out to us. First there\u2019s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cjmart.jp\/en\/products\/detail.php?product_id=3784\">Escagot no shounen<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>a doll figure created by the artist before we was known as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/picopicoshimbun\">Picopico<\/a>.\u00a0 Medicom is offering new sofubi versions to celebrate the previous doll releases. Another standout is the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cjmart.jp\/en\/products\/detail.php?product_id=3783\">Gandy-Kun Touya Sato Exclusive<\/a> <\/strong>with colors chosen by Touya Sato, the father of Gandy-Kun. Finally, the <a href=\"http:\/\/cjmart.jp\/en\/products\/detail.php?product_id=3775\">Blobpus painted Shishigashira<\/a> is aces in our book.
