In a bit of a surprise (albeit rumored), Clutter<\/a> has announced a special Five Points Festival<\/a> Fall free event taking place during NYCC<\/a> weekend. Five Points Fall will take place on Friday (10.5) and Saturday (10.6) from 1 to 11 PM at their pop up space on 815 Broadway in Union Square.\u00a0 The event is presented by Kidrobot<\/a>, Clutter<\/strong>, POPaganda<\/strong>, Martian Toys<\/a>, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore<\/a> and Lagunitas<\/strong>.\u00a0 Look for art and appearances by Ron English<\/a>, Jason Freeny<\/a>, Tara McPherson<\/a>, Czee13<\/a>, Kikkake Toys<\/a>, American Gross<\/a>, The Bots<\/a>, The Outer Space Men<\/a> and Nugglife<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Five Points Festival Fall will feature two special evening events. Kidrobot will host a party on Friday night (7-11PM) with live paintings and gifts.\u00a0 Saturday\u2019s Ferocious Choke Hold<\/strong> (7-11 PM) brings sofubi drops from Mutant Vinyl Har<\/strong>dcore, Kikkake Toys<\/strong>, Rampage Toys<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n

The event is great news for art toy fans in NYC and those flying in for NYCC.\u00a0 We\u2019re expecting more specifics shortly as the event was announced this morning. We\u2019re curious as to whether artists and companies showing at NYCC will bring similar products to the event or do something different.\u00a0 For instance, will Kidrobot\u2019s<\/a> exclusives scheduled for NYCC be available at this event as well ?<\/p>\n
