In celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s classic animated film, Kidrobot<\/a> has collaborated with Disney and artist Colus<\/a> on a new Life-Size Bambi & Thumper<\/strong> resin sculpture set. Known for his smooth yet angular animal designs, Colus brings his signature aesthetic to Bambi and Thumper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those familiar with Colus’ previous work will likely think of his previous Deer XO resin sculpture. Perhaps not surprisingly, the Bambi treatment seems to flow out of that previous work in terms of the overall approach to the deer anatomy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new lifesize set is a perfect opportunity for collectors to bring the magic of the film into their homes. Drawn from the film, the instantly recognizable color design completes Colus’ interpretation of the two characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An edition of 300<\/strong>, the Bambi & Thumper Life-Size<\/em> resin sculpture set is available for preorder from Kidrobot<\/a> for $700<\/strong> and is expected to ship in Q4 2022.
