DKE Toys Signing Schedule & Cheat Sheet


This is probably the post you’re going to want to study for SDCC. Both the signing schedule and exclusive release cheat sheet! Thanks to DKE they’ve compiled all you need to know about when and what is going down at their booth #5045.

Signing at the booth on Thursday, you’ve got The Sucklord at 10AM, Mike Egan at 1PM, and Ron English at 4PM.

Fridays featured signings are with Skinner at 1PM, David Flores at 4PM, and Frank Kozik and Scott Wilkowski at 5PM.

Saturdays line up we have a signing with Andrew Bell and Scott Wilkowski at 12PM, Killer Bootlegs at 1PM, Dave Bondi at 2PM, Ron English at 3PM, Mike Egan at 4PM, and lastly The Sucklord at 5PM.

Rotofugi SDCC Release – Max Toy Co & Javier Jiménez


The Rotofugi booth #5248 at SDCC is never complete without a visit from Mark Nagata of Max Toy Co. There he will have a ton of customs and exclusive releases available. Prices for the one-offs will range from $85-435 each, while the new re-sculpted Eyzeon will be available for $108. Then there are some mini goodness, such as the Monster Boogie lineup that features the Micro Nekoran and Mecha Nekoran for $30 a pop.

Mark will also be doing a singing at the booth on Thursday, July 18th at 2PM with Javier Jiménez, who will be debuting his resin Don Antler figure. Those will be up for grabs for $160 each.

Gargamel for SDCC


We last talked about the other half of booth #5244 HERE with the Grasshut side and here we have the Gargamel side! As every year, be sure to expect some rad releases and tons of custom figures. You’ve got the Pocket Kaiju Series, which features the Crouching Mibora, F.U. Robo, S”Tain. Helper, Super Puncher, Hujili’s Ghost, and the new Randoll mini. If you purchase all 7 pockets, you will receive the Pocket Crouching Hedoran for free!

Luke Chueh x Jason Freeny x Munky King – SDCC Exclusive Self-Medicated Target Figure


The full reveal of the Self-Medicated figure is finally here! The collaborative piece between Luke Chueh and Jason Freeny will be an exclusive release at the Munky King booth #4851 at SDCC. These will be limited to 100 pieces and features both a touch of Jason and Luke in every piece!

DKE Toys SDCC S.U.C.K.L.E. Release


DKE Toys are proud to present the first public release of the Suckadelic S.U.C.K.L.E. series. Standing 2” tall, Series 1 features 10 different characters, Sucklord 66, Sucklord 43, Sucklord 16, Ass Wipe, Necromancer, Galactic Jerkbag, Ira Tyranusberg, Another Bitch, Vectar, and Gay Empire. The set features all 10 in a gray prototype edition for $25 each with just 200 sets available. The Sucklord will be attending the con and will have a signing at the booth #5045 on Thursday at 10AM and Saturday at 5PM.

Giant Robot at SDCC


For this year’s Comic-Con, Giant Robot will be flush with exclusives, artist signings and in what’s become a tradition – a custom show.  This year’s iteration of their ‘Remix Project’ series features artist customs of GR’s very own BIG Boss Robot vinyl (5.5”) featuring pieces by Drilone, Leecifer, Luke Chueh, David Horvath, Aaron Brown, Julie West, Jason Limon, Edwin Ushiro, Jeremiah Ketner, Nathan Ota, Yoskay Yamamoto, J*Ryu, Mari Inukai, Dehara Yukinori, Cris Rose, Kohei Yamashita, Lunabee, A Little Stranger and more.

As for exclusives and releases, some of the highlights including Yoskay Yamamoto’s Sleepin’ hand-cast pins (7.19 signing @ 11 AM), Exclusive GID Nekomitaina Hone figures by Mari Inukai (100 pcs + free print, 7.20 signing @ 1 PM), handmade GR plush by Hilda Hufalar (20 pieces), Dehara Yuinkori mini figures (1.5”) in various colors, Scott Wilkowski’s Infected Big Boss Robot resins (purple and green, 7.19 signing @ 2 PM) and Ugly Doll Caps, Beanie, and new ‘Goin’ Places’ comic (David Horvath Signing on 7.20 @ 11 AM)   All of this will be happening at Giant Robot’s booth [#1729].  Be sure to check out GR’s full SDCC plans to see everything in store for you.

Gary Ham x Lana Crooks – Hermees Plush for SDCC


We told you Gary Ham had more in store for you at SDCC. Presenting the Hermees plush, a collaborative release with Lana Crooks. These will be super limited to only 5 pieces and are hand crafted by Lana. Find them at their booth #5139.

Martin Hsu for SDCC


If there was any time you want you really wanted to get your hands on a bunch of Martin Hsu’s Dragon Boys, SDCC would be that time. Including the pre-release of the “Prism” Dragon Boy from BAIT (SEEN HERE), Martin will have a few releases for his booth #4531. Available will be 50 pieces of his Original Edition 2nd release Dragon Boy for $85. There’s even a 3rd Dragon Boy release, with the Wingrow Gallery Edition. Martin will only have 5 of these on hand for $85.


How about some print action featuring Dragon Boy and his best bud Blacky! “Dragon Boy Rejoice” is limited to 60 pieces and come signed and numbered for $40 each. If those aren’t enough to entice you to check out his booth, don’t forget about the reveal of his new vinyl figure, Blacky the Dragon Dog!

Munky King - Versus Art Battle Party at SDCC


Comic-Con is almost here and that means plenty of exclusives, signings, and the always popular Munky King party which we all look forward to as a chance to unwind and touch base will colleagues.  This year’s party [#6!], will feature the Versus Art Battle featuring a live painting contest pitting six 2-artist teams against one another for the title of Versus Art Champion.  Emceed by John ‘Spanky’ Stokes, the teams include Food One and Mike Huddleston, Angry Woebots and Dez Einswell, Jerome Lu and Podgy Panda, Deph and Rocom, Martin Hsu and Jeremiah Ketner, Gmonik and Jorge Gutierrez. In true democratic fashion, the winner will be decided by crowd vote – power to the people.   As with past parties, this one will go down on Thursday (7.18) at Bar Basic from 9 PM to 1 AM – be sure to get there early as the venue usually reaches capacity fairly quickly.

Amanda Visell – Where Eagles Dare Art Show during SDCC (7.19)

001-mrktpostcardback_3.1Comic-Con weekend  brings so much more than just the world’s largest, craziest pop culture convention.  Beyond the exhibition hall there are parties, movie studio experiences, and often art shows.  For 2013, Amanda Visell will open her ‘Where Eagles Dare’ solo on Friday (7.19) @ mrkt – walking distance from the convention center.  Amanda has a created a new collection of original paintings primairly focusing on iconic pop culture characters.  She will also offer a new T-shirt and print.  Finally, she’ll be showing prototypes of new collaborative sofubi figures from Itokin Park, Michelle Valigura, and herself.

Jermaine Rogers – “Choices” Reveal at SDCC


Jermaine Rogers will be revealing his newest figure at his booth #4532 during SDCC. Just from the shadowy teaser, we’re going with his bunny character he often uses in his artwork. This piece was sculpted by the wizards over at Bigshot Toyworks, so we know this will look amazing. We cannot wait to see this in person!

Squid Kids Ink. SDCC Releases & Exclusive10-Doh! Figures


Squid Kids Ink. has a great line up of 10-Doh! figures, including the SDCC Exclusive Golden Mini 10-Doh! for $20 and is limited to 150 pieces. There will also be a special resin release paying homage to Breaking Bad. The Blu Ice 10-Doh! Tombstones come in a large 6” release limited to 10 pieces and will retail $130. There is also the mini 3” 10-Doh! that is limited to 25 pieces at $40 each.Be sure to also keep an eye out on a few SDCC debuts!

Leecifer’s Gammy and PickleBaby for SDCC


Leecifer will have a bevy of toys available at this years SDCC. Through the Dragatomi booth #5350, Leecifer will release the Dark Blue Unpainted PickleBaby in honor of Dragatomi. The exclusive will be limited to 20 pieces at $60 each, as well as a handful of one offs, and some AP’s of the next couple of colorways. Leecifer will also be releasing some blind box Gammy figures for $75. All of which will be available during his signing with Drilone on Thursday from 3-4PM. Tons of photos after the jump!

Toy Tokyo SDCC Exclusive and Signing Schedule


There’s no SDCC without some Toy Tokyo news! Here we have the flier for both their exclusive releases and signing times at their booth #5337. We’ve already mentioned Sket-One’s Dripple figure and Mishka x L’amour Supreme x Blackbook Toy’s Keep Watch Bank, but there are still so many other goodies to choose from! Grasshut at SDCC


The gents of Grasshut and Gargamel will most definitely be at this years SDCC. Their booth #5244 will have goods from Bwana Spoons, Le Merde, and Kiyoshi Nakazawa, and of course the Gargamel crew.  Expect some rad things from Bwana, such as his new Jeff figure, “Wasted Youth” Teenage Randall, mini sloths, prints, skatedecks, t-shirts, and plenty of custom toys. There will also be a Grasshut SDCC exclusive Munktiki on Thursday, Koraters banpo customs on Friday, and Zack Soto’s first resin release on Saturday

Podgy Panda Signing Schedule for SDCC


Podgy Panda will be making his way out all the way to San Diego for SDCC! He will be signing at the Dragatomi booth #5350 on Thursday, July 18th from 11AM-12PM. Then you will find him at the Color Ink Book booth #5638 on Friday, July 1st  from 1-2PM. So be sure to bring your sketchbooks and Blank DIY figures along to get signed by the Podge!

Lulubell Toys SDCC Exclusive Debris Japan by Restore


The Lulubell Toys booth #5045 will have 3, count em’ 3, Debris Japan figures by Restore at SDCC. The only other way to score these through Popsoda online, but Lulubell decided to bring these figures to you! Up for grabs is the Green with Red for $60 that will be released during preview night. The GID with black for $60 will be available on Friday at 5PM. Then there is the “Profuse” edition for $100 on Sunday at 5PM.

Martin Hsu x BAIT – SDCC Release “Prism” Dragon Boy


The BAIT booth #4632 has got their hands on another SDCC release. They’ve teamed up with Martin Hsu to release the “Prism” Edition Dragon Boy figure. We last touched base on a couple of Gary Ham’s SDCC exclusives HERE. Now we have an updated shot of one of the figures and a brand new release to share with you! As teased before, we have the tasty looking Neapolitan Wooper Looper. It’s as if it were Wooper Looper season because there will be another Sofubi Wooper Looper up for grabs, which is this awesome GID edition. Both of these releases will be available at his booth #5139. We are thinking these will retail around $60 each. We have a feeling there will be more awesome coming from Gary, so stay tuned.

DKE Toys SDCC Release - Akashi 5yl Luna Edition by Dave Bondi


It’s been some time since we’ve seen Dave Bondi’s Akashi 5yl figure. The Luna Edition is a new and improved version of its first version from 5 years ago. This release is limited to 50 pieces and will retail $65 each. Dave will also be at the booth #5045 at 2PM on Saturday.
