This coming TEQ Tuesday (2.4) will be a special one with the release of the new Toxic TEQ Artist Series TEQ63 from Trashbury x QUICCS x Martian Toys. Toxic TEQ features a light neon green design—evoking vibrant toxic waste— with black and silver (reflective) details.
This first Artist Series edition of 2020 introduces there versions (‘options’) including Original, Upgrade with minor hand-embellishments and Artist Proof with extensive artist embellishments. From the promo image, the Upgrade seems to have a stylized fade on the helmet’s horns as well as very minor toxic streaks around the hoodie pocket. The Artist Proof (20 pieces) adds toxic splatter (head) and numerous streaks (torso). In addition to these three versions, Martian Toys will also release a handpainted Toxic MicroTEQ63 (20 pieces).The offering of multiple versions is an interesting concept usually reserved for fine art releases, prints in particular.
Limited to 200 pieces, the Toxic TEQ art toys will be available on Tuesday (2.4) from Martian Toys. The Original edition will be priced at $85 each and the Upgrade will go for $120 each. No word yet on AP pricing.
