Louis De Guzman‘s dynamic take on everyone’s favorite troublemaker is set to make a return with a new pink edition of his Elevate vinyl sculpture. A follow-up to the OG full-color edition which debuted at last year’s ComplexCon, the new all-pink edition (8″) is limited to 500 pieces and will be available this Friday (5.31) at 10 AM PDT for $275 each from the artist’s web shop.
Precariously posed, Elevate is an excellent translation of the Chicago-based artist’s geometric-abstraction aesthetic from 2D to 3D, with bits of the iconic skater coming apart before our eyes, perhaps just before he bails.
