Wha…? It’s My Little Pony gone bad. From the playful and clearly twisted mind of Klim Kozinevich of Bigshot Toyworks comes the Four Horsies of the ‘Pocalypse. This new take on the beloved (and bemoaned) cartoon characters mixes the equine DNA with a heavy dose of Cthulhu. The otherworldly steeds have caught the attention of Bronys (I know, I know..) who were first exposed to Klim’s oh-so-wrong but so fun designs on the ‘net right around the New Year on web hubs such as i09 and Laughing Squid.
Not content to create videos and animations of his end of the world, tongue-in-cheek creations, Klim, as you would expect from a die-hard toy guy, decided to go ahead and try to make them into designer toys. The first of which is Little Maddie, mentor to the the four deadly ones: Calamity (Pestilence), Raven (Famine), Clash (War) and Ghost (Death). While he’s reached a major milestone with the creation of molds, Klim is now looking to collectors, bronys, and fans to help make his wild dream a reality via Kickstarter.
The project rewards feature the 6” Little Maddie figure either a pre-order of the OG black + purple design ($60) or the Kickstarter exclusive GID edition (300 pcs, $160). Maddie’s also the star of sticker packs ($15), Mugs ($20), and Tees ($25). Go check it all out on Kickstarter.
