‘The Warrior’s Day Off’ NFT Exhibition by Buff Monster

Buff Monster enters the wild, wondrous world of NFT’s (non-fungible tokens)—a red-hot combination mix digital art and crypto—with his The Warrior’s Day Off exhibition at Nifty Gateway on Saturday (4.23). Viewing NFTs as an opportunity to explore digital art as a final medium rather than an in-between preparatory process, Buff Monster has approached the show with the same level of care and attention to detail as he would an analog exhibition of painted works.

The new collection of NFT’s (nine in all) continues the story of Mister Melty’s role as The Warrior as he battles evil. The pieces include a pair of 3D-turnaround pieces featuring Two-Faced Mister Meltys, one with a rainbow design and the other featuring a shiny, translucent ‘glass’ finish. Both pieces began as 3D scans of the resin figure which served as the basis for the highly-polished renders. Thanks to the precision of digital tools these two pieces might very well look even better than even the highest quality physical figure.

Each of the figure-based NFTs will be available via drawing/lottery for $250 each. Please note that in order to participate in drawings, you must already have at least one NFT in your Nifty Gateway account. In addition to the pieces released via drawing, five digital painting (static) NFTs will be available via auction. Two editions of five will be available via silent auction in which the five highest bidders win. Additionally, three 1-of-1 pieces will be sold via the classic ‘high’ auction method in which the winner is the highest bidder.

Buff Monster will also release two open edition NFTs, each featuring an animated design. The open edition pieces will be available for $499 each during a tight 5-minute window.

Buff Monster’s The Warrior’s Day Off NFTs will be released in two separate back-to-back drops grouped by sales method on Saturday (4.23) from Nifty Gateway. The lottery-based and auction-based pieces will be available at 3:30 PM PDT while the open edition pieces will be available at 4 PM PDT.
