LA-based artist Luke Chueh’s Low Fidelity vinyl art toy is inspired by his passion for chilling out and working while listening to LoFi beats. Flowing from the original painting, Chueh’s first self-produced vinyl features his beloved signature bear chilling in a hoodie while enjoying calming tunes over a pair of over-the-ear headphones.
First released at DesignerCon 2023 in limited, early quantities, the figure has two editions. The standard Low Fidelity figure features a white bear with a black hoodie while the alternate High Fidelity inverts the relaxation with a black bear and white hoodie. High Fidelity also features swanky gold headphones.
Now that the main shipment has arrived, Luke is set to officially launch the figures (8″, $88) starting with an in-person release/signing event at Giant Robot 2 on Saturday (2.17) from 2 to 5 PM PST. The figure will also be available online on Monday (2.19) at 12 PM PST from Luke’s site.
