Korean artist NerdboyWorks (Minchan Park) continues to celebrate the many faces of his duck universe with the brand-new Ready to Ride resin figure. The OG edition of the free-spirited retro rider pays homage to motorcycle glory with a 50’s era Bell Hell-met and Ford-inspired ‘Nerd’ jacket.
Embodying an era, this daring duck is ready for the open road with classic shades, blue denim, brown boots and of course, a cigar. While he’s taken a few lumps (nothing a few band-aids can’t patch up), the next great road beckons. Beyond the artist’s original sculpt, the painting stands out here with details such as the motor grease-stained riding gloves and the stone-washed jeans. Ready To Ride follows NerdboyWorks previous figures which featured ducks as miners, lumberjacks, hipsters and more.
An edition of 10, the Ready to Ride OG resin art toy (8.2″) is available from the Hands In Factory store for $520.
