Known for her creepy & cute characters with unexpected numbers of eyes and limbs, Chinese artist Abao is about to release the new Magic Memi & Ghost Kitty vinyl mini figure set with Unbox Industries. The two figures skew closer to cute on the creepy & cute continuum.
Magic Memi brings us the artist’s recurring girl character in a red robe with blue bow and yes, five eyes. Speaking of multiples, Memi has her three hands clutched tightly in front. Ghost Kiiti is an adorable black cat with a single, cyclops-like yellow eye. Surprisingly, the Kiiti has white paws and a white tail. This smaller format hides some of the characters’ freaky features like Memi’s spider DNA and Kiiti’s eight legs.
The Magic Memi & Ghost Kiiti mini soft vinyl art toy set (2.5″) will be available on Saturday (12.30) at 7 AM PST from Unbox Industries for $70.
