The long-awaited collaboration be Slick and Jason Freeny is ready. The Dissected LA Hands vinyl art toy is set to drop at DesignerCon 2023 (12.15 – 12.17). A revealing take on Slick’s iconic LA Hands design representing the City of Angels, the Dissected version serves up the anatomy with a twist.
Rather than cut right down the middle as with many dissected designs, the collabo slices off the top layer of each hand, revealing the many bones in the classic cartoon hands. Speaking of slicing, Slick’s booth will offer an immersive experience with his take on the LA Medical Examiner’s facilities. If last year’s prison-themed booth for the Primate 5506 figures is any indication, this year’s booth will be a must see with a fully-realized environment complete with a dope medical staff. While Slick and his fellow Doctors will be on hand, Jason Freeny will not be there as he travelled to Singapore for Singapore Comic-Con. Come for the toys and stay for what’s bound to be one of the most memorable booths of the show.
The 8″ figure will be available in both the OG edition (999 pieces, $175) in white & red and a DesignerCon exclusive Murdered Out, all-black edition (150 pieces, $175) from Slick’s booth [. One third of the OG edition will be available as part of an advance release while the remaining stock will be available for online pre-order on Saturday (12.16) at 12 PM PST from the Slick Store.
