London-based street artist Nathan Bowen brings his signature character to life with the new Afro Demon vinyl art toys by Balkong Toys. The figures translate Bowen’s minimalist, ‘sketchy’ designs into 3D with the face and grinning teeth delivered with sparse, stark linework. The large afro and the 3D face sculpt complete the transformation from two dimensions to three.
Editions of 75, the Afro Demon vinyl art toy (5.91″) is available in both Blue (‘Be Inspired’) and Red Editions (‘Have A Good Day’) are available directly from Nathan Bowen’s site for £125 (~$153). Each toy will come with a numbered collector’s card and matching A3 print (11.7 x 16.5″).
