Painter Brian Viveros x 3DRetro are set to launch the next chapter in the Dirtyland saga at DesignerCon 2023. The new Evilast! Boxer vinyl art toy features a femme fatale fresh off several gruelling rounds in the ring. She’s wearing the classic training head gear, rebranded for the occasion. Her bruised and bandaged hand is all in a day’s ‘dirty’ work.
The second of three Dirtyland Troopers, the new release follows the previous Bullheaded figure. As seen in the group photo, there will be three different troopers, each featuring different headgear. Next up: a Mickey-inspired warrior.
As with the previous figure, Evilast! Boxer features a large amount of airbrushed detail to convey the brooding, visceral nature of Viveros’ paintings. The heavy, dark eye shadow that is starting to drip onto the trooper’s cheek and the blood spots on the helmet and the hand give her an organic, gritty presence.
An edition of 200, the Evilast! Boxer vinyl art toy will be available at the 3DRetro DesignerCon booth (#200) for $200. The figure will also be available online on Sunday (1.17) at 1:30 PM via NTWRK, DesignerCon’s liveshopping partner.
