Korean artist Zay Coke continues his Bebe series of kid creatures with the new NyongNyongi resin art toy. With a hip, playful vibe, this young dragon is ready for the playground with a semi-translucent red ball in hand. Hmmm… ‘Dragon’ ‘Ball’ — maybe a clever nod to the classic anime series or not…
NyongNyongi has a fun, cartoony vibe with a large head, small body and oversized feet. While the dragon’s whiskers seem worthy of a larger dragon, the horns, teeth and tail have a ways to go. While not speifically stated as such, this drop comes just a few months ahead of the lunar Year of the Dragon (2.2024).
