As part of it’s Black Friday 2023 lineup, Kidrobot is offering the Little Astronaut x Astro Boy Silver Edition art toy from AX2 x Tezuka Productions. The cosmic collaboration brings together Alex Fang’s Little Astronaut Concept and Osamu Tezuka’s iconic Atom Boy.
While previous versions of the Little Astronaut featured Fang’s Space Suit Boy and his companion Little Fox by his side, this special edition features Astro Boy in command of a fancy space suit/mecha suit complete with light-up accents and fully-functioning cockpit helmet/hatch and door. Opening both the hatch and door allow, Astro Boy to continue his explorations on his own. The deluxe treatment continues with four sets of hands for the space suit.
Previously only available in Japan as a WonderFest 2023 drop, the Little Astronaut x Astro Boy art toy (Ed. of 150, 7″ suit/3″ Astro Boy) is available for preorder from Kidrobot for $122 and is slated to ship in Q1 2024.
