Legendary NYC graffiti artist Futura offers an illuminating vision of his signature Pointman character with the AV-001LV limited-edition art toy lamp in collaboration with AllRightsReserved. Flowing in part from the smaller FL-001 vinyl art toys, the hybrid figure offers a relentless, cold and calculating futuristic vision.
A follow-up to the elevated stainless steel AV-001, the new LV edition counters the OG release with a glossy black ABS + mixed media design featuring accent lighting on the visor/eyes (red) and on the ears/arms (white). With a focus on ambient mood, this might be considered more of an illuminated art toy rather than lamp in the traditional sense.
An edition of 500, the AV-001LV (13″) art toy lamp will be available on Wednesday (11.22) at 7 PM PST from the DDT Store for HK$2,355 (~ $301). The collectible comes in a blister-style package.
