Japanese artist ESOW continues his collaboration with AllRightsReserved with the new The Night Shift vinyl art toy. While his previous Full Push skateboard figure offered a streamlined sense of speed and freedom, Night Shift offers a more light-hearted take. With an impeccable black and white geometric fit, the (seemingly) friendly character is a fun answer to the question of ‘what happens late at night when the beer’s gone’. A tag here and there plus silly fun and games with empty beer crates.
With a definite retro vibe, Night Shift showcases the lighter, quirkier side of urban life. In many ways, it tapes into the appeal of early HK urban vinyl. Character and personality are everywhere. Cool without trying too hard.
An edition of just 200, the The Night Shift vinyl art toy (8.5″) vinyl art toy will be available on Wednesday (9.27) at 8 PM PDT for preorder from DDT Store for HK$1750 (~ $224). The figure is slated to ship in December 2023.
